It's like I'm in "Third world country God, Its you or nothing."

God is so amazing. I took a nasty fall in my kitchen night before last. While grabbing something from the fridge, my grand babies walker snuck up behind me and when I turned, my foot caught, and me and the sour cream went splat! I landed HARD on my elbow. I knew something was horribly wrong because as hard as I tried to get up, my brain said "no just lay here. " after a few minutes when I got my senses back, my elbow felt like it was on fire.

My grandson Riley helped me to my bed and I laid there and prayed. When we checked out the damage we saw that the elbow bone had completely came thu the skin and made a deep hole. No broken bones, just a really deep hole to the bone. I thought about going to the hospital, but since I don't have insurance at this season of my life I tell God and my friends," I am like a third world country God, Its you or nothing." I called my buddy Bev, the nurse. Who after attempting to get me to go get medical help finally gave in and gave me the home remedy, steri strips.

Riley tortured me cleaning it out w/ peroxide. Not once but 3 times. butterflied me up and I went to bed so nauseated from pain I put my bible under my arm. and put a pillow over my bible and rested my arm on His promises all night. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep because every time I moved the pain was un bearable.

Yesterday the pain receded from a 10 to about 5. It kept oozing clear liquid (sorry its gross but there is a such a cool ending, keep reading). I was a little worried because it was red and swollen, and It was looking like it could have infection, but I laid my arm on my bible again all day and spent the day cuddled up in His presence. I woke up today and I am amazed!!! NO pain. No swelling, no redness, I can move it all around and even bend my elbow with no pain. I am crying with gratitude to my Jesus as I write this.

He knows I am an independent hairdresser who needs her arms. My grand baby needs holding, and I need to drive for my ministry. Thank you, thank you, Daddy! 3 days and good to go!!
